This summer the Chisago Lakes Area Community Foundation sponsored a very unique fundraiser. Taylors Falls has its natural beauty; the Franconia Sculpture Park has its eclectic take on monumental art; this summer Chisago City, Lindstrom, Center City, and Shafer joined in to add to the artistic vibe along the Highway 8 corridor. The "Life is Great on Highway 8" promotion provided the opportunity to bid on and own one of 37 beautiful & thematically painted Adirondack chairs.
